Privacy Policy

The short version

Rate My Fit Now is a private wardrobe. There is no feed and no other user can see your clothes, your photos or your look videos. Your images are sent to AI services to be analysed and to generate your outfit renders, and they come straight back to your own account. Nothing becomes public unless you tap share, and you can take a shared link down again. You can delete everything, permanently, from Profile.

1. Who we are

Rate My Fit Now is operated by Dilinx inc. If you have a question about this policy or about your data, write to kianoush@dilinx.com.

2. What we collect

  • Account details. Your email address and a password, which is stored hashed by our authentication provider. We never see your password.
  • Outfit photos. The pictures you take or upload so the app can find the garments in them. They are resized on your phone before upload.
  • Garment data. For each piece the app detects: a cropped image, a category, a colour, a short description, and a numerical representation of how the garment looks. That representation is what lets the app recognise the same jacket in a later photo instead of filing a duplicate.
  • Occasion tags. The tag you choose for each photo, such as office or party, and which garments appeared in it.
  • Your model photo. Optional. One full-body photo of yourself, saved only if you choose to make a look video. You can replace or remove it at any time.
  • Try-on results. The generated images of you wearing a suggested outfit.
  • Basic technical records. Ordinary server logs needed to run and secure the service.

3. How your images are processed

The app itself does not talk to any AI provider. It talks only to our backend, which calls the following Amazon Web Services models on our behalf, in the United States:

  • Garment detection. Your outfit photo is sent to a vision model that returns the position of each garment in the frame.
  • De-duplication. Each cropped garment is sent to an embedding model that returns the numerical representation described above.
  • Outfit suggestions. The occasion you type and a list of your garments are sent to a text model that ranks which pieces suit it.
  • Look videos. Your model photo and a picture of the chosen garments are sent to a third-party video generation service (fal.ai, running a MiniMax model), which returns a short clip. The photo is sent as a temporary, expiring link and no generated image of you is produced or stored along the way; the clip itself is stored in your private storage.

Images are sent to these services to produce your result and for no other purpose. We do not use your photos to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell them.

4. What we do not do

  • There is no public feed, no followers and no browsing other people’s wardrobes.
  • We do not sell or rent your personal information.
  • We do not show you advertising inside the app.

5. When you share something

Sharing is always an explicit action. When you tap share, a copy of that single image is placed at an unlisted public web address and a link is created. Anyone who has the link can open it, and search engines could reach it if someone republishes it, so only share what you are comfortable being seen. Revoking a share deletes the copied image. A link that has already been opened may stay in someone else’s browser cache or in a messaging app preview for a short time afterwards.

6. Where your data lives and how it is protected

  • Photos, crops, your model photo and look videos are held in private storage.
  • Every record is bound to your account at the database level, so one account cannot read another’s data.
  • The app loads your images through short-lived signed links rather than public addresses.
  • Traffic is encrypted in transit.

No service can promise perfect security, but the design goal is that your wardrobe is reachable by you and by nobody else.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account exists. Deleting your account removes your account and the data attached to it, including photos, garments and look videos. You can also remove individual garments, or replace your model photo, without deleting the account.

8. Your choices

  • Delete everything: Profile, then Delete account.
  • Remove one garment: open it and choose remove.
  • Stop making videos: replace or remove your model photo.
  • Take back a shared link: revoke the share.
  • Ask us for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct or erase it, by writing to kianoush@dilinx.com.

Depending on where you live you may have additional rights over your personal data. We will honour those requests at the address above.

9. This website

This site uses Google Analytics to count visits and to see how many people tap through to the App Store or Google Play. That measures the website only: it is separate from the app, it never touches your wardrobe, your photos or your account, and it runs whether or not you have an account at all. Google sets cookies to do this. If you would rather not be counted, browser tracking protection or an ad blocker will stop it, and the site works normally either way.

10. Children

Rate My Fit Now is not intended for anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will remove it.

11. International transfers

Our storage and the AI services described in section 3 run in the United States. If you use the app from elsewhere, your data is transferred there to be processed.

12. Changes

If this policy changes we will post the new version here with a new effective date, and note significant changes in the app.
